With the removal of geographical limitations in the world, our country has become a center of attraction with its magnificent beauty appealing to everyone. tourism sector in Turkey continues to take a greater share of the international tourism every year. In this respect, the human factor is becoming more and more important in order to provide the service quality required by the contemporary tourism sector.
The qualified and qualified manpower needed by the tourism sector will be provided by the tourism departments of the universities.
In our department, thanks to our experienced academic staff, in-class applications, case studies, seminars, fair, airport and hotel sightseeing tours are supported by guest speakers from the sector. Thus, students are provided with the opportunity to learn and understand tourism in their real environment.
We are trying to increase the technical competence of our dear students with computer programs applied in the hotel and travel agency sector. We strive to provide our students with the professional skills needed by the hospitality, catering, congress-conferences, travel and transportation sectors.
Tourism professions are capable of working and living happiness in decent environments. In particular, I would like to state that our graduates who are fluent in foreign languages have become sought after by domestic and international tourism organizations.
It will be an honor to prepare young people who are interested in tourism, who are at peace with technology and who are oriented to the service sector in the ”Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department”.
